1. Personal Information Collection offers a variety of services that are collectively referred to as the “Service.” collects information from individuals who visit the Company’s Web sites (“Visitors”) and individuals who register to use the Service (“Customers”). Customers are either Administrators (individuals who are responsible for administrating the Web site on behalf of a company or group) or Users (individuals who are part of a company or group and have been invited by an Administration to participate).

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Service or registering to use the Service, requires you to provide the Company with contact information, such as name, company name, phone number, email address ("Required Contact Information") as well as type of industry and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the Service ("Required Company Information"). When subscribing to the paid version of the Service, requires the Administrator to provide the Company with billing information, such as billing name, address, and credit card number ("Billing Information"). also requires the Administrator to provide additional information about the Users associated with your corporate account ("Corporate User Information"), such as employees' names and email addresses. Administrators may also provide us with employee job titles and departments as a means of organizing the Users within the account. Required Contact Information, Required Company Information, Billing Information, and Corporate User Information are referred to collectively as "Data About Customers."



In order to use most features on this Web site, an Administrator must first complete a registration process in order to create an account. All other Users will be assigned to a corporate account that has been created by an Administrator. During registration, an Administrator is required to provide Required Contact Information and Required Company Information (as defined above). will automatically bill (or charge) the account based on payment terms (monthly, quarterly, or annually) chosen by the Administrator during the registration process until the Administrator closes the corporate account (via the   Profile module   ). Users will be assigned a username (typically, their email address) and will be prompted to enter a password for their individual account but will not be asked for any additional information during the registration process.

Non-personally identifiable registration information may be shared in aggregate form with our partners and advertisers, but never in a way that is linked to an individual company or person. Billing information will never be shared with an individual company or person.


2. Use of Information Collected


When you register with, you create your own profile. Your profile information, including your name, email address, and your organization's name, are only displayed to people within your corporate account. We will use your name and email address to send announcements, articles, and service announcements to you. Profile information is used by primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to other users within the same corporate account. may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service. For instance, if a User on the same corporate account posts a comment on a Conversation that you created, you may receive an email alerting you to that fact.

Generally, you may opt out of such emails from My Email Preferences  in the Personal Profile module , though reserves the right to send you notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications. may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people made the same pledge (for example) and for personalizing announcements and promotions.

The Company also uses data about users to perform customer service requests. For example, if you fill out a "Contact Us" Web form, the Company will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Service.

The Company may also use data about customers for marketing purposes. For example, the Company may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interest in, the Service, and to send you information regarding the Company and its partners, such as information about promotions or events. uses credit card information solely to collect payment for the Service. uses Web Site Navigational Information to operate and improve the Company's Web sites. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Web Beacons uses Web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about Customers and Visitors' usage of the Company's Web sites and interaction with emails from the Company. Web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular Web site tied to the Web beacon, and a description of a Web site tied to the Web beacon. Additionally, we track the number of sessions initiated by a given user and the user's session length in order to identify power users and to test our site's overall usability. Finally, we track usage of links that point off of the site. We do not correlate this tracking with personally identifiable information.

4. Public Forums, Blogs, User-Generated Content, Customer Testimonials may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Company’s Web sites. Sharing of Information Collected may share Data About Customers with the Company’s agents so that these agents, on our behalf, can contact Customers and Visitors who have provided contact information. may also share Data About Customers with the Company's agents to ensure the quality of information provided. does not share, sell, rent, or trade personally identifiable information with third parties for their promotional purposes.

Additionally, we may share aggregated information with co-brand partners (partner sites that provide users with customized functionality), in order to enable them to personalize and otherwise enhance the users’ experience. 7. Email and Email Newsletters


Users of may receive periodic emails as part of their organization’s communications initiatives. The schedule and content of these emails are determined by the Administrator. These types of emails are automatically generated via the Web site on behalf of the Administrator. Users cannot unsubscribe to this type of email communications. They must notify their Administrator and request to have their email address removed from the account.

In addition, users can specify whether or not to receive email notifications when another user comments on a Conversation that they have authored. The user can change this setting via the My Email Preferences  in the Personal Profile module .


Referrals (Tell-a-Friend)


Customers and Visitors may elect to use the Company's referral service to inform friends about the Company's Web site. When using the referral service, the Company requests the friend's name and email address. will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Company's Web sites. does not store this information.

Communication also sends the Administrator site and service announcement updates. Administrators are not able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the Administrator to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email.

8. Correction/Updating Personal Information


If a user's personally identifiable information changes or if a user no longer desires our service, will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. This can be done through the Personal Profile page or by emailing our Customer Service department at

9. Choice/Opt-out


While does not give users the opportunity to remove their information from our database, you may elect not to receive future communications or to discontinue use of our service. All users can change their email preferences via My Email Preferences in the Personal Profile module. However, Users must contact their Administrators to request removal from emails sent as part of an organizational initiative or to request to discontinue the use of the service altogether.

10. Security takes appropriate precautions to protect our users' information. Your account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall.
